Terms
Last updated May 24, 2026.
These Terms and Conditions govern use of the Foxboro Dry Cleaners website and all garment care, alteration, repair, preservation, planned locker, and related services provided by Foxboro Dry Cleaners, located at 211 North Street, Suite 7, Foxborough, Massachusetts 02035.
By using this website, requesting service, leaving items with us, placing items in a locker once available, accepting a receipt, paying an invoice, or authorizing another person to release items to us, you agree to these terms. If you are acting for another person or organization, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page applies to website use and to new services requested after the update date shown above.
Foxboro Dry Cleaners provides professional garment care services, including dry cleaning, laundering where appropriate, pressing, alterations, repairs, 24-hour locker drop-off and pickup when available, and wedding dress preservation. Some services may be provided directly by our staff, coordinated with qualified service partners, or declined when the item, requested result, or condition presents unreasonable risk.
Service availability, pricing, turnaround times, methods, and recommendations can change based on staffing, equipment, materials, weather, item condition, manufacturer instructions, and customer authorization. Estimates are not final prices unless we confirm them in writing for a specific order.
We inspect items at intake and during processing, but some issues are not visible until cleaning, pressing, steaming, or handling begins. You are responsible for pointing out known stains, damage, weak areas, special care requirements, missing pieces, sentimental concerns, or high-value items before service starts.
By submitting an item, you authorize Foxboro Dry Cleaners to select a professional method that we reasonably believe is suitable based on the care label, fabric, trim, construction, age, condition, staining, and industry practice. This may include dry cleaning, wet-side spotting, hand treatment, steaming, pressing, or a conservative alternative when a care label appears incomplete, inaccurate, missing, or unsafe for the item.
We may request additional authorization before processing delicate, vintage, couture, heavily stained, structurally weak, beaded, leather, suede, fur-trimmed, specialty, household, or unusually valuable items. We reserve the right to refuse service or stop work if risk becomes apparent.
Textile care involves inherent risks, especially for garments that are aged, worn, previously cleaned, improperly stored, stained, altered, embellished, dyed, bonded, glued, pleated, coated, or made with mixed materials. These risks may include:
We use professional judgment and reasonable care, but we cannot make a worn textile new again or remove every risk created by age, construction, prior handling, staining, or manufacturing choices.
Stain removal is performed on a best-efforts basis. Some stains are permanent or cannot be fully removed without risking color loss, fabric damage, texture change, or trim damage. Invisible spills, including clear beverages, champagne, white wine, sugar, salt, perspiration, deodorant, body oils, and protein-based stains, may darken over time even if they were not visible when the item was submitted.
We do not guarantee complete stain removal, perfect restoration, odor removal, whitening, color matching, dimensional stability, or long-term preservation results. If aggressive treatment could harm the item, we may recommend a more conservative result.
Alterations and repairs are based on the measurements, fitting notes, garment construction, fabric allowance, customer direction, and condition of the item at the time of service. Certain requested changes may not be possible without affecting drape, symmetry, durability, pattern alignment, seam strength, lining, trim, or original construction.
Customers should try on altered garments promptly after pickup. Requests for adjustment must be reported within 48 hours of pickup and before the garment is worn, washed, cleaned elsewhere, altered elsewhere, or used for an event.
Wedding dress cleaning and preservation requires specialized evaluation because bridal fabrics, lace, beading, adhesives, hemline soils, body oils, invisible spills, and storage materials can react differently over time. By submitting a gown, veil, train, accessory, or related bridal item, you authorize us to inspect, document, clean, press, package, and preserve the item using methods we reasonably determine to be appropriate for its fabric, embellishments, age, condition, and staining.
Preservation is designed to reduce future yellowing, oxidation, handling damage, and environmental exposure, but it is not a permanent guarantee against aging, hidden residues, future storage conditions, moisture, insects, mildew, smoke, flooding, heat, or customer handling after release. If a preservation box is opened, handled, stored improperly, exposed to humidity, or transported without care, preservation results may be affected.
Locker service is planned. Customers using lockers once available should follow current store instructions, bag items securely, include accurate name and phone number information, and call 508-698-2222 during normal store hours when needed. Items placed in lockers are accepted for service after they are retrieved and logged by Foxboro Dry Cleaners.
We may release completed orders through in-store pickup, lockers, or another method authorized by the customer. Once items are released to a customer, customer-authorized person, customer-selected location, vehicle, locker, or third party, responsibility for the items passes to the customer.
Customers are responsible for keeping claim tickets, account details, locker codes, payment links, and order communications secure. We may request identification or additional confirmation before releasing an order.
We may tag, barcode, photograph, or otherwise document items for intake, inventory, quality control, customer communication, claims review, training, or internal recordkeeping. Documentation is intended to support accurate service and protect both the customer and the store.
Please remove all personal property before submission, including cash, cards, jewelry, watches, keys, pens, cosmetics, electronics, accessories, documents, keepsakes, and detachable items not meant to be serviced. We are not responsible for personal items left in pockets, bags, garment covers, or packaging.
Unless specifically accepted and listed on the order, belts, buttons, ornaments, hangers, garment bags, detachable trims, packaging, and accessories are submitted at the customer's risk.
Prices may vary based on item type, fabric, construction, stain level, service complexity, finishing requirements, rush requests, preservation materials, alterations, repairs, and special handling. Taxes and other charges may apply where required.
Payment is due at pickup, release, or another time we specify. We may require deposits, prepayment, or payment before beginning or releasing certain orders, including preservation, specialty, high-risk, custom, rush, or alteration work.
Estimated completion dates are good-faith targets, not guarantees. Delays may occur because of item condition, required re-cleaning, repair needs, customer authorization, supply availability, staffing, equipment, power, weather, or other conditions outside normal processing.
Customers should pick up completed items promptly. Items left uncollected for an extended period may be subject to storage fees, loss of promotional pricing, or other reasonable handling charges.
If items remain unclaimed after reasonable attempts to contact the customer, Foxboro Dry Cleaners may treat the items as abandoned and may dispose of, donate, recycle, or otherwise handle them in accordance with applicable law and industry practice. Customer balances remain due unless waived in writing.
Customers must inspect items at pickup or immediately upon release. Any claim for missing items, damage, service concerns, alterations, pressing, staining, or Acid Free Packaging must be reported to Foxboro Dry Cleaners within 48 hours of pickup or release and before the item is worn, used, cleaned elsewhere, washed, altered, repaired elsewhere, stored long-term, or removed from preservation packaging.
We may require the original receipt, order number, tags, packaging, photographs, proof of value, proof of purchase, and physical inspection of the item before evaluating a claim. Removing tags, discarding packaging, continued use, third-party work, or delay in reporting may limit our ability to review or resolve a claim.
Our responsibility is limited to items while they are in our custody and control. We are not responsible for loss or damage caused before intake, after release, by customer handling, by third parties, by hidden defects, by inaccurate manufacturer care labels, or by risks inherent in the item.
If Foxboro Dry Cleaners determines that compensation is appropriate, the remedy may include re-cleaning, repair, alteration adjustment, store credit, replacement contribution, or monetary compensation, at our reasonable discretion and subject to applicable law.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, compensation will not exceed a reasonable depreciated fair market value of the item and will not include sentimental value, replacement at original retail price, special occasion value, loss of use, consequential damages, emotional distress, travel, photography, event costs, or other indirect damages. Customers are encouraged to maintain independent insurance for high-value, designer, heirloom, couture, bridal, vintage, collectible, uniform, or sentimental items.
Nothing in these terms is intended to waive rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
